First, select the hand that wears the glove
Golfers commonly wear a glove on their lead hand. That usually means a left-hand glove for a right-handed swing and a right-hand glove for a left-handed swing.
Our hand selector refers to the hand wearing the glove. Before checkout, double-check that choice along with the size and fit. “Right” does not mean that it is automatically the glove for a right-handed golfer.
Standard and cadet are different fits
Cadet sizing generally accommodates shorter fingers and a wider palm relative to a standard glove of the corresponding size. It is a different proportion, not simply the next size down.
If a glove fits your palm but leaves loose material at the fingertips, compare a cadet option. If both the palm and fingers feel wrong, use a sizing guide or try on another size before deciding. A familiar size label is a starting point rather than a guarantee.
Judge the fit while holding a club
Try a normal grip rather than checking the glove only with your hand flat. Look for a close, comfortable fit without loose folds across the palm. The fingers should not leave excess material at the tips or feel painfully tight.
Check the closure too. It should secure the glove comfortably without needing to pull it to an extreme just to remove slack. If it bunches, twists, or restricts your grip, reconsider the size or proportions.
